From kindergarten and schools to apprenticeship and university, we attach great importance to comprehensive education. A wide variety of educational facilities offer the right learning environment for every age group and thus support individual growth and development.
The European City of Görlitz-Zgorzelec and its surrounding area are a paradise for children. There is plenty of space and opportunities to try things out. When mum and dad are at work, the little ones experience new adventures every day with their friends at the kindergarten. As well as having fun, it's also about educating the children. Görlitz-Zgorzelec has numerous facilities for this, whether private or municipal, with various educational concepts. In some cases, children can also attend a German-Polish kindergarten.
In the European City of Görlitz-Zgorzelec and its surroundings, families will find the best educational opportunities for their children. Görlitz has twelve primary schools, three special schools, five secondary schools and two grammar schools. Apprentices learn at the vocational training centre near the railway station or at one of five private vocational schools.
There are also opportunities for further education at the adult education centre, the municipal library, in museums or at numerous private education providers.

With three faculties and a diverse range of study programmes, there is something to suit everyone. The seminars in small groups allow for optimal supervision and close relationships between students.
